At Lotus Haus Interiors, we create detailed design plans and work alongside a general contractor and trades from early planning through final walkthrough for the design project.
It makes the remodel design more efficient and everything runs more smoothly as we as designers collaborate with the general contractor and trades. This helps to make a lot of decisions with clarity throughout the construction phase to ensure the design is being executed correctly so everyone is on the same page and the project runs more smoothly and efficiently and reduces expensive mistakes.
We attend site walks and review installation details before walls close or materials are permanently installed. Designers often catch missing specialty items, improper finishes and stone layouts, tile pattern inconsistencies, outlets placements and lighting accessories.
Even the most thoughtfully planned remodel will have last minute adjustments! It's just part of the process and we will work with the general contractor to brainstorm and come up with the most practical and the best solution if a problem arises.
